I decided to make a section for those special people in our lives. These are all people that we met within weeks of arriving in Japan. Thanks everyone for being so great! First is Akane - we actually met her in Canada. Her father came all the way to the airport to pick us up and we stayed at her gramas house our first night in Japan. Akane and her family have been so kind to us since we arrived. They have done so much for us that I can't really write it all in. This particular blog is a tribute to you Akane!
